It’s one day closer to the weekend, yay! Today I have a different kind of card to share. I love the new sketchbook line from Amy Tangerine and I especially love the Paisley Patterned paper. But as a card maker I wasn’t sure what to do with it, I certainly didn’t want to cover it up with images and stamps. So I decided to do a little coloring, not with markers or pencils but with stickles! I picked colors that were bright and cheery and used the paisley doodles as my coloring book.
I added a simple sentiment banner being sure not to cover up any of the pretty design. Simple and sparkly!
On another note…I signed up for The Washi Workshop class at Studio Calico yesterday.I haven’t taken a class with Studio Calico before so I am looking forward to it. I have a stash of washi tape that I love but don’t seem to use very often so I hope I will get some great ideas and inspiration from this class.
Thanks for popping in today! 🙂
