Hello!
I’m back today with another preview of a awesome new set from Neat & Tangled. I just love the new set On the Strip. You can use this set to create your own custom washi tape look, how awesome is that?!? I just love this idea, you can have matching patterns and customize the colors just by using your stash of ink. Don’t get me wrong I love my washi tape but this stamp set can stretch the washi look even further. I made a couple Valentine’s projects using this great set.
For this first card I stamped the strips close together creating a pattern paper then die cut the heart shapes out of my pattern paper. I colored my pearls with a pink copic to give them a soft pink tone and accented the edges of the hearts with stickles.
This set would be great to create quick cards, I made these two little Valentine’s very quickly by stamping the same strip in coordinating colors. To create the ripped effect on the vertical strips I just tore a scrap piece of paper and used it to mask off the bottom of the card.
Be sure to visit the Neat & Tangled blog to see more wonderful creations using this new set of stamps and comment there for a chance to win a set for yourself.
