Hello Friends and Happy Christmas Eve!
It has been a while since I shared but today I have a bright and colorful holiday card with a video. Although I made this card for the holidays I think it could really be for any time, why not wish your days to be merry and bright all year long.
This card is bigger than my usual card, today I switched it up and created a 5×7 card. I started by creating the inked background using cracked pistachio, mermaid lagoon, and blueprint sketch. Then I used the Snowy Sky stencil with translucent grit paste and prisma glitter to create a subtle snowfall in the sky.
I created my sentiment with Riley’s ABCs, scripty merry, Smitty’s ABCs, and Oliver’s ABCs. I wanted this card to be very colorful so I created strings of rainbow holiday lights along the top with the mini string of lights die. Â This along with the pixie dust hillside at the bottom framed my sentiment up nicely.
After getting all my pieces onto my card I felt like the bottom snowy hill needed a little more to balance everything out nicely, enter the rainbow trees! I used the trees from the Shadow Box Mountain Add-on die set and added some stardust stickles for a glittery snowy look.
