Hi everyone! Today I have a card to share the I made to play along with A Blog Named Hero‘s current challenge Color Me A Hero.
The challenge is to make a project based on the color scheme in their logo. Typically I struggle with color challenges, I’m not sure why. But this one I managed to use all the colors and I am kind of in love with my end result.
I used hero arts layering papers and a stamp set I have had for a long time but never used. I’m extremely happy with the result and the soft colors. To create a different pink tone for the flowers I rubbed bubble gum mid-tone shadow ink on the carnation paper before punching out my hearts. I also used an American Crafts Knock Out border punch for the bracket edge. I like these because I have limited punch storage space and you only need one base for multiple designs, a cool idea you should check it out!
Thanks for stopping by today!

I like the soft colors too, Chari!! I've actually had the opportunity to visit and go up in the Eiffel Tower! Memories I'll always treasure 🙂 Great card – Good Luck!
So so pretty! Wow! Love this so much. I NEED that newspaper background stamp. Can you believe my ribbon carousel order arrived already! Wasn't that just Friday we were talking about it?
Umm, gorgeous 🙂 I have a problem with color challenges too, I think because I can't touch the color. Thanks for playing with us at A Blog Named Hero 🙂
