Memories of a Special Day

As promised here is a blog post of pictures from Me and Matt’s wedding. (April 2, 2011).  I hope you all enjoy! (there are quiet a few) πŸ™‚

Mom made our cake.
Matt getting his boutonniere pinned on by my Grandmother (look close and you will see a lego man on each boutonniere, Matt’s was Han Solo, he picked out a Star Wars character for each groomsmen)

A Handsome Crew wouldn’t you say?
Getting Laced Up
Something Old – A button from Mom’s wedding dress hidden away
No one could see my feet, so check out  my comfy shoes!
Me and the Girls, aren’t they so pretty in purple!
Me & my sister
Yes, I have a Lego person too! Princess Leia is hidden in my bouquet πŸ™‚
Dad walking me down the aisle (this was when I got nervous!)
I truly loved the place we got married, beautiful place right downtown.
Matt’s co-worker Ben performed the ceremony (the perks of marrying a magistrate)
Here we are, Mr. & Mrs. Moss
And this is us being silly… the East Carolina Pirates (Matt’s doing the Pirate Hook) vs. the North Carolina State Wolfpack (and I’m doing the Wolf’s Head)  Hehe!  We had something in our vows about supporting each others teams πŸ™‚
Some shots around downtown, Asheville is a beautiful city, I feel blessed to live in such a beautiful place.

This shot seems to be a favorite
Dancing! Yes, we did practice.  Matt has his converse shoes on now too!
Me dancing with my Dad (well this is the end of our dance)
The boys really getting into it (especially Matt)
More Dancing! (I am not a dancer, I was dragged into this)
Dad is not a Yankees fan πŸ™‚ (don’t worry, he didn’t actually murder the cake, just hamming it up for the camera)
I made fun smooch lips and mustaches for people to take pictures with.
Bubbles for our exit.
And just look what they did to my car!  At least my side of the car said “The Boss” πŸ™‚

  2. We're the red and white from State and we know we are the best…with our hands behind our back we will take on the rest. (And the rest shouldn't be said on a comment, I suppose!) Go NC State! Go Wolfpack! Oh how I miss it there.
Lovely photos, looks like your day was well worth it. Congrats!

  4. Beautiful Pics Chari!!! Looks like so much fun! I love the awesoem dance moves :D. Your hubby seems funny like mine – he busted a move on our wedding day too – everyone was like "what the…". It’s one of my fave wedding day memories – too funny. Great idea to wear sneakers – my feet killed, literally, for a week!! I also love the smooch/moustaches on a stick idea – so fun!! God bless you guys!!! Nothing but happy wishes :).
