Lawn Fawn March Inspiration Week: Meow You Doin’ + Wonderful Window

Hello! It’s Here! March Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week!  Today we are featuring Meow You Doin’ and the new Wonderful Window die.

I colored my little kitty with colored pencils to look like my friend Jana‘s cat Gracie. I am not a cat person so I used pictures of my friends kitties for inspiration. 🙂  This little kitty is dreaming of a can of tuna for his birthday.

I created a fun fish bone “wallpaper” with Merman ink on Mermaid cardstock and layered it on some peacock cardstock cut with a new zig zag rectangle die.  I also paper pieced the little cat bed with papers from the Watercolor Wishes and Perfectly Plaid Rainbow papers.

My second card features the new Wonderful Window die.  It seems it is popular to put cats in this little window but my little dog loves to look out the window as long as you put a chair for her to sit on because she’s short. 🙂 So I paired the cat from Meow You Doin’ with one of the dogs from Happy Howloween.

I used woodgrain distress paper for the window box and colored it with tea dye and vintage photo distress inks.  I finished off my birthday sentiment using he Happy happy happy set at the grass along the bottom.

Be sure to stop by the Lawn Fawn blog all week for more projects, inspiration, videos and giveaways!  Thanks for stopping by!

  1. Your cat dreaming of tuna just made me laugh!! I am more of a dog person (my hubby hates cats) but I need a cat fix every once in a while. And I find them amusing. So I KNOW a cat would dream about tuna!! I also like how you made the "happy" with white and framed it with black. totally makes it pop!
