A friend asked me to make a Birthday card for her father-in-law and I thought to myself, oh goodness a Masculine card! I do not have much practice making those. So I decided to keep it simple and let my pattern paper and color scheme do all the work. Here is what I came up with.
I went with the birthday cake image because lets face it cake is for everyone! ๐ And since I was good and used up some of my hoarded pattern paper stash I think I will submit this for this weeks Wee Memories challenge. Which is to use patterned paper of course! Thanks for stopping by today. I hope you are all having a good week, we have made it over the hump, it’s all downhill from here to the weekend.

I think you did a fine job with the masculine card! Nothing better than a touch of twine for an embellishment either!
I just LOVE your paper-pieced birthday cake. How fun is that???
This makes me happy! I love plaid and think it makes EVERYTHING better! Great job with the masculine card – theyโre always a bit hard for me. You nailed it!
This is gorgeous, Chari! I love the autumn colours and the Lawn Fawn stamps.
This is a fabulous masculine card! I have been eyeing that paper pad for weeks, and now I KNOW I have to have it. Gorgeous!
Fab masculine card….the twine adds so much to this! Thanks for playing along with Wee Memories!
