Hello!
I know it’s been awhile since I have posted a card…but it’s a new year (well one month into a new year) and I have some new goals for myself, to try and post more! So to start off I’ve challenged myself to 14 days of Valentine’s cards, we shall see if I make it. 🙂
I’m starting off day one of my Lots of Love challenge with some little lovey dovey whales.
I really love the pink and teal color scheme which works perfectly with this sweet little whales. I used Let’s Bokeh in the snow papers for the main background. I think the bokeh looks like bubbles and fits well with the whales.
The layered waves at the bottom are cut from distress watercolor paper and blended with cracked pistachio, evergreen bough and peacock feathers distress inks. I used some Hello Sunshine paper for the little whales for some super simple paper piecing and finished it off with some Stardust and Cool Mint stickles accents.
