Lots of Love: Love you Tons

I’m half way through my Lots of Love challenge, 14 valentine’s in 14 days, this is the most love I’ve shown my blog in awhile! It’s day 7 and today I’m using some cute little elephants to spread the love.

I stamped the little elephants from Love You Tons in hippo ink and colored them with colored pencils. The sentiment banner is cut using the new sentiment banners from Lawn Fawn. I stamped the sentiment with lobster ink and the hearts with wild rose. The card base is cut from new Lawn Fawn card stock in Guava! I’m excited about these new card stocks and look forward to the color collection growing in the future hopefully.

I used the stitched square dies to cut the plaid panel. By using the die and lining it up right I was able to center the pattern in the shape perfectly. I love the the Perfectly Plaid collection has plaids both on the 45 degree diagonal and at 90 degrees straight. I cut a stitched heart from pink card stock and centered it in the plaid panel. The plaid pattern also makes it easy to line up the sentiment banner straight! I finished it off with some heart enamel embellishments I had in my stash and some faux stitching in white pen around the plaid square.
