Hello!
Happy weekend! It’s day 6 of my Lots of Love personal challenge…almost half way! Today card uses one of my favorite sets from Lawn Fawn, Love you a Latte…I love how the sentiments are the steam from the coffee. 🙂
I added a little heart to the coffee cup and colored everything in a valentine color scheme using copic markers. I also stamped the little coffee bean in doe ink, then in walnut ink to create a pile of beans to ground my cup and saucer. The sentiment is stamped with hippo ink to give it a soft steamy look and added the hearts using the new manatee ink (avaliable very soon! Feb. 18).
Since I used one of the woodgrain notecards in cranberry I also used a stitched 4 bar rectangle die to cut the cardstock I used for my panel. I layered some burlap behind the panel for some texture, I think burlap is perfect on coffee themed cards.
Thanks for stopping by today! Have a great Saturday and I’ll see you back here tomorrow with another valentine!

Hi Chari, This is a great colour combination and goes so well with the colour of the woodgrain card. And I do love the burlap, it really does look great adding the extra texture to this wonderful card. x
Love this card! Did you use a liquid adhesive with the burlap? I've had a hard time with burlap and a tape runner.
Yes I did. on both sides. I ha bet ruble with tape runners on burlap too. I have used sheets of double sided adhesive before but I think the liquid works better.
Agreed! Thank you.
