Let it Snow! Let it Snow! Let it Snow!

This Christmas our family went caroling.  In our medley of songs there was a little bit of “I’m dreaming of a White Christmas” thrown in…Oops!  Who knew it would lead to this. It has definitely been a White Christmas here in the mountains of NC (no dreaming required).  Record breaking snow as a matter of fact, the most snow seen on Christmas Day since 1969!  Some Christmas Day plans had to be rescheduled but luckily Mom & Dad did get to come over Christmas morning before it got too bad, and Matt (after having been snowed in alone at home last winter) came prepared to spend the weekend at my house.  We took full advantage of living next door to my sister and her husband by cooking dinner and playing games together two nights in a row.  It has been nice to not have to go anywhere and just be able relax at home (well except for the snow shoveling) I picked a good week to take vacation from work I suppose.

Stampendous Snowman Gift Tag
Lawn Fawn Winter Bunny Tag

A busy holiday season did not allow me to do as much crafting as I normally like to do for Christmas.  No big batch of handmade Christmas Cards this year, or multiple batches of holiday goodies.  But I did try to squeeze in a few handmade touches where I could find the time.  I purchased a little paint bucket full of polka dot chipboard gift tags at Target this year, I couldn’t resist the packaging or the polka dots!  But overall the tags themselves were rather plain.  So I decided to use a few of my new stamps to spice them up a little.  My newest stamp love is Lawn Fawn,  I was so excited to get them!  I knew the winter bunny stamp would be perfect to make a gift tag for Mom, she loves bunnies!

Merry Christmas from  Little Miss Santa Penny!
