Lawnscapings Holiday Blog Hop

Welcome to the first ever Lawanscaping Blog Hop!  Yay! So glad you have come to hop along with us today!  You should be arriving here from the lovely Laurel‘s blog. If you are off track and need to start at the beginning, you can visit the Lawnscaping Blog for the complete list of designers. As always I’m sure Laurel has dished out a Fabulous dose of inspiration.  Big shout out to her and the amazing design team for starting the Lawnscaping Challenge blog, it is my favorite challenge out there!  This month’s hop theme is Holiday projects!!  I decided to go with the Christmas holiday but wanted to focus on making something a little less traditional.

I decided to make a card set with some alternative holiday colors using some PTI cardstock and coordinating Jenni Bowlin inks.  I added some sparkle and shine with Martha Stewart glitter and DMC silver metallic embroidery floss.

The hop runs from Friday, September 9th –
Sunday, September 11th! Make sure to comment on all of the blogs because
there are LOTS of prizes to be won, including Lawn Fawn stamps! All the details can be found on the
Lawnscaping home page (http://lawnscaping.blogspot.com).

Your next stop on the hop is Ujjwal‘s blog.  Thanks for stopping by today. I can’t wait to grab a cup of coffee and hop along with you to see the amazing holiday inspiration from all these talented ladies.

  3. Beautiful! There's something wonderful about the simplicity of these cards. I always overdo it when I design my Christmas cards…. Maybe I'll take a hint from you, that less IS more!

  4. sigh – I love your design work Chari! You've taken cute, whimsical images and made beautiful, elegant cards with them. The soft colored strips and stitching are SO pretty! Would you mind if I case them for gifts to friends at work?
