Lawn Fawn + Therm-o-web: Deco Foil Projects

Hello! This week the Lawn Fawn design team is using Therm-o-web products to create our projects. I decided to play with the Deco Foil in some pretty fall colors. I created two different projects using Deco Foil.

For my first project, I created a card by die cutting the Deco Foil Peelnstick toner sheets and then adding foil in gold, copper, red and green to the leaves and apple and apple frame.

My second project is a canvas zip pouch that I decorated with stitched leaves.  I die cut Deco Foil Hot Melt adhesive with the stitched leaves dies and ironed it onto the outside of the pouch.  Once the adhesive is on the fabric I then removed the liner paper and cut small pieces of each foil color to cover the leaves, then ironed the foil on.

The first layer of foil did not leave a completely solid impression due to the texture of the fabric, so I reapplied the hot melt adhesive over a couple of the leaves and added a second layer of foil for a more solid leaf.  Other I left “distressed” so that there was some variation on the leaves.  The dots and stems were made with the Deco Foil liquid adhesive.  This adhesive can be applied in any shape, just let it dry then stick the foil directly to it.
