Lawn Fawn Summer Release Week: Duh-Nuh, Palm Trees + Ocean Wave Accents

Hello!
Today Lawn Fawn Release week continues with a cute new stamp set called Duh-nuh and some new dies, Palm Trees and Ocean Wave Accents.

I started by cutting a stitched oval then running the cut oval through my Cuttlebug with the Stitched Cloud Backdrop die.  I did the same for my Fancy Scalloped Rectangle which creates the background.  Then I used distress inks in squeezed lemonade, scattered straw and wild honey for the background.  The sea is colored with tumbled glass, broken china and mermaid lagoon. I cut it with the same oval die and used the ocean wave border for the top and the ocean wave accents for the other details.

The palm trees I cut from white cardstock as well and colored with distress inks using twisted citron and mowed lawn for the tops and scattered straw, rusty hinge & vintage photo for the trunks.  The little shark from Duh-nuh is stamped with jet black ink on Narwhal cardstock then I inked the top half of him with hickory smoke distress ink. I love that the ocean wave accents create a little wavy slot for him to fit in perfectly. I finished it off with some clear sequins and some sea glass stickles.

My second card is a fun shaker card that uses the new Outside-In stitched squares to create a “jawsome” three panel card.  I used watercolor wishes paper for the background and mermaid cardstock for the front.  I used Perfectly Plaid winter to accent and filled the frames with beads to look like bubbles.
