Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week: Large Wreath

Hello! Lawn Fawn Inspiration week is still going strong and today we are featuring the wreath dies. I used the large wreath.

For this card I actually used one of the circle frame dies that is one size larger than the circle included the large wreath die set as the base for my wreath.  This allowed me to create a larger wreath to accommodate the larger sunflower images I wanted to add.  The two smaller sunflowers and birds are from Happy Harvest and the largest sunflower and leaves are from Our Friendship Grows.

I cute the boughs of the wreath from yellow and orange Knock on Wood paper and added them to the base circle cut from a dark brown paper.  I used the same dark brown cardstock for the white embossed “happy” sentiment and embossed the “wishes” directly on the background.  I really love how the warm fall colors pop on the dark blue plaid background.  I finished it off with a twine bow using two colors of twine and some tiny white enamel dots created using the Tsukineko irRESISTible Pico Embellisher in Wedding Dress white.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more projects with the Large wreath as well as projects featuring the small wreath and the new Knit Picky paper collection.
