Lawn Fawn September Inspiration Week: Thanks A Latte

Hello! I’m back for another day of Inspiration week and today we are featuring one of my favorites sets from the newest release, Thanks A Latte!  This set can be used year round, but today I have a Christmas card and a Fall card to share.

I love this card because it’s nice and simple.  I used whtie woodgrain cardstock for the card base and added some more detail with metallic blue and pearl watercolor splatters.

I colored my hot cocoa or coffee mugs with non-traditional Christmas colors. The sentiment is made from stacked die cuts from Guava cardstock with silver glitter as the top layer.  I also added white textured embossing powder to the whipped cream (after taking this picture) which added some nice fluffy texture.

My second card is fall themed.  I colored the cup in some creamy colors and then stamped the latte inside with walnut ink. I used Knit Picky Fall papers for my background.

I added a die cut vellum rectangle over the background paper to soften the colors a bit. I used the Scripty Thanks die cut for a more bold sentiment on the front. On the inside, I added another piece of the same pattern paper with a gift card slot.

Be sure to check out the for more projects and to see just how I created these two cards in the Thank A Latte intro video!

Thanks for stopping by!
