Lawn Fawn Release Week: Polka Heart Backdrops

Hello!
Today is the last day of Release week. You know what that means, all new products will be avaliable tomorrow! But, in the mean time I have some projects featuring the newest backdrop dies, Polka Hearts Backdrops.

My first card has a tone on tone background using the Polka Heart Backdrop die. I layered Pixie Dust glitter cardstock behind a die cut white panel for a subtle look.

I added some Candy Hearts cuts out with ballet slipper cardstock on top and Guava cardstock behind.  The sentiment is also a mix of a Guava cardstock strip with white embossing and Mermaid cardstock with Rose Gold embossing.

My second set of cards features some distress oxide ink blending. I created a rainow background as a base for each card.  For one I cut the Polka Heart Backdrop from white cardstock and layered the rainbow panel behind.  I added a simple sentiment with scripty be and scripty mine cut from black glitter cardsock.

For my second card I sprayed the inked panel with perfect pearl spray for a pearlized shine.  Once dry I used the Polka Heart Backdrop to cut the inked panel.  I layered this over a black background for a different look. I used the toaster and toast from Let’s Toast on this card.  I white embossed the toaster on Storm Cloud cardstock and stamped the toast on kraft cardstock eliminating the need for too much coloring.

Be sure to stop by the for more projects from the Design Team.
