Lawn Fawn October Inspiration Week: Oh Snap & Love you Latke

Sorry for the late post, I am currently suffering through a lack of internet at our new house. It’s amazing how much I rely on it to get things done!

Lawn Fawn inspiration week continues today with Oh Snap and Love you Latke, a great new Hanukkah set. For my Hanukkah card I did a lot of distress ink blending to try and make the candles glow.

I simply stamped the image then blended the colors around it. I colored it in with gel pens to cover up the blended colors. This set has a great die set that allows you to cut out the candles and flames separate and layer them but I actually made this before I had those awesome dies in my hot little hands.

I covered a scalloped rectangle in grey ink then added a layer of wink of stella glitter to it to make my own shimmery silver paper.

For my second card I colored the little gingerbread men with colored pencils to give them some cookie texture.  I arranged them on pink card stock circles and added simple banners for the sentiments.  I love that little angry cookie with the broken leg, he makes me giggle.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn Blog for more projects with these two great sets!
