Hello!
I’m back again with another day of May inspiration week! Today I am sharing projects using the new So Jelly min set and Ocean Waves border dies. I must say the new So Jelly mini set is just too cute!
I used one of the Let’s Polka Mermaid notecards as my card base then used the stitched squares to cut some solid card stock to create a focal panel. I colored the starfish and jellyfish with copics and cut them with the coordinating dies.
For the sentiment I stamped it one a yellow banner but then used a silver Kirarina Wink metallic pen to trace over the letters. I also used a Aqua Blue Kirarina Wink pen to draw in the shiny bubbles at the top.
I have been using my scalloped border dies to make waves for awhile now so I’m super excited to now have some perfect Lawn Fawn style wave dies, in three sizes no less! I love these wonky waves! I wanted to create a nautical style card so I picked out some dark woodgrain paper as my background. I used the new Stitched Oval dies to create the frame and the whale is colored with colored pencils blended with gamsol.
I finished this card off with some Liberty twine, white pico embellisher dots and the scripty thanks wood veneer as my sentiment. It is hard to see in the photos but I added a layer of clear Wink of Stella glitter to the wood die cut. Stop by the for more projects with So Jelly and the Ocean Waves dies.
