Hello! Today Lawn Fawn Inspiration week continues with the new Slide On Over dies. These are designed to assist in creating slider cards.
So I have never actually made a penny slider card before, so this is a first for me and it literally is a Penny slider card. 🙂 I used the a simple hillside border for the front piece where I also cut my slider slot, and the grassy meadow border die for the back piece to layer behind. I used the dachshund from Critters in the Dog Park, the cupcake and candle from Baked with Love and the party hat from Party Animals.
Here is a look at the slider in action…Penny totally would run toward a cupcake…and devour it by the way, she’s a bit of a pig. HA! I layered my slider scene on mermaid cardstock cut with the cross stitched rectangle stackable die. I added simple cloud frame die cuts for some delicate clouds and a few little hearts to finish things off.
The sentiment is from Year Two and I added some stickles to the hearts and clouds for some sparkle.
Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more Slider On Over projects and a video showing these dies in action!

Super cute card!
It's so fun to make moving cards. Love your choice of a birthday dog running for a cupcake. I will have to get Slide on Over dies.
Love the way you made the weiner dog slide card
Chari,
I found a penny, even a dime too big to hide behind the dachsaund. What did you use?
I used a dime, but I used a dime because of it's thickness more than the size.
