Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week: Manatee-rific + Stitched Wave Borders

Hello! Today for Lawn Fawn Release week I have a fun shaker card to share featuring the new stamp set Manatee-rific and Stitched Wave Border dies.

This is a no coloring needed card! I white embossed the manatees on narwhal cardstock and only added some colored pencil for rosy cheeks and eyeshadow.  I used papers from the Watercolor wishes collection for my backgrounds, waves, and banner.   I also stamped and white embossed the seaweed to tuck behind the waves onto the green watercolor wishes paper as well.

To create the shaker box I die cut multiple frames with the Slide On Over circle dies and stacked them.  The circle this die creates does not appear to be exactly the same as the porthole frame circle but extremely close.  Close enough that I could be used for this technique.  I kind of like the pink color peeking out just slightly anyway.  I filled my shaker with shells from Little Things by Lucy’s Cards along with some clear seed beads which always remind me of bubbles.  I also tucked some seaweed inside the frame as well but they get hidden in the photographs by the shells and beads inside.

Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more projects using Manatee-rific and the new stitched wave border dies!
