Lawn Fawn May Inspiration Week: Coaster Critters + Bunting Borders

Hello! Are you excited for the Lawn Fawn Summer release? It’s a pretty awesome one.  Today we are kicking things off with Coaster Critters stamps and Bunting Border dies.

I used the new Coaster Critters set to create a fun scalloped box card pop-up perfect for summer.  The larger of the coaster pieces is slightly longer than the pop-up box but with a little creative trimming at the right spot, it doesn’t even look like it has been cut.

I cut the box from Really Rainbow 12×12 papers and was sure to line up the stripes so they were continuous around the entire box. For the inside pieces, I used the “stage” die from the new Shadow Box Theater add-on set.  The width fits inside this box perfectly which is a great way to stretch your supplies.

The green plaid I used for the hills is from Perfectly Plaid Rainbow.  I like that it adds a texture without being too busy.  I used blue plaid from Perfectly Plaid Spring for the sky and coordinating Really Rainbow stripes from the petite paper pack for the other panels.

My second card to share today shows of the new Bunting Border dies.  These are super fun and will be great to add to any party cards.  I wanted to keep these borders the star of the show so I created a simple card with rainbow buntings crisscrossing across the background.  The background is cut with the new Itsy Bitsy Polka Dot Backdrop and the frame is the largest of the new Stitched Scalloped Rectangle Frames.
