Hello! We are getting close to the end of this month’s Lawn Fawn Inspiration week, but we are not quite done yet. Today we are featruing the new set Toadally Awesome.
I believe we have finally reached the last of my Creativation jar scenes, but these are by far my favorites! I created two frog scenes and really loved the idea of incorporating the bayou backdrop hanging from the top of the jar. I used two colors of cardstock and glued them to the inside of the jars with xtreme adhesive tape runner. I did the same with the twine on the outside to hide the adhesive. As a side note this technique works best on cylindrical jars with straight sides. (by the way I found these jars at Hobby Lobby and really liked working with them over Mason jars) I also really loved the opportunity to use different mosses for the base and the dark blue marbles to create these swampy scenes.
All the images are colored with Copic markers. I put the jumping frog onto a coiled piece of copper wire so he is jumping through the air. (he is kind of hidded in the greenery in these pictures) And for the little dragonfly I just glued the die cut trail to the back of the little frog to make it look like it was in the air.
