Hello! I’m back today for another day of Lawn Fawn Inspiration week. Today we are featuring the newest add-on for How you Bean? I love the How You Bean? Stars Add-on set, but then again I have always been a fan of stars.
I was inspired by one of my favorite Pixar shorts, La Luna. If you have not seen this little film it is a short about a boy who goes with his father and grandfather on a night boat ride to go and sweep fallen stars from the moon’s surface. I made a big pile of stars by masking and white embossing the cluster of stars onto yellow Watercolor Wishes paper and cutting out the top edge.
I created the background by water coloring layers of distress ink and then blending the edges once it was dry. I also added flecks of gold metallic watercolor for stars. The sentiment is white embossed on strips of black cardstock and I popped it and the little astronaut up with foam adhesive.
