Hello! Back again for day three of Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week featuring Interlocking Backdrops. I might have needed my head examined when I decided to paper piece the tile background stamp but I pushed through and have a fun card to show for it!
I stamped the herringbone on a diagonal in toffee crunch ink for that great tone on tone on the kraft. For the tile pattern I white embossed the stamp on each of three papers from the Dewey Decimal petite paper pack then created my pattern from there. I did color it out on a scrap piece of paper to plan out my colors a little bit and give myself a map to go by. After I got the stars on there I thought it still needed a little something extra so I cut some strips of paper and sprinkled them around. 🙂
Be sure to visit the Lawn Fawn Blog and see other creations using this great set!
