It’s July Inspiration Week at Lawn Fawn and I have been working hard on Intro Videos so I have some fun projects to share with you today! Today we are featuring the Embroidery Hoop Window and Frame Add-On. This is a newer die which came from and idea I had to create new ways to incorporate stitching designs into our cards.
This die set had a die that cuts a window sized perfectly for the Embroidery Hoop designs allowing you to layer your stitched creation behind a panel without needing a frame or hoop.
For my sample, I cut the Embroidery Hoop Rainbow add-on out of the same paper as the panel the window is cut from and this technique really incorporates the stitch into the card.
Next up I have a stitch framed with the frame in this new die set. This new frame is a scalloped design making it a bit more decorative than the original hoop in the Embroidery Hoop set.
This is the Busy Bee Embroidery Hoop pattern but any stitch will look amazing in this scalloped frame.
Finally, I wanted to make a card that uses the two extra pieces in the die set, the star, and the cool stitching detail piece. So I created this simple monogram notecard. It was quick to make and you could make a whole set that would be a great gift.
