Hello!
Inspiration Week continues! Today we are focusing on Deck the Halls stamp set and the Stitched Snowflakes dies. I used the branches in Deck the Halls to create a cute wreath on my card. I traced around the medium size round clear block with a pencil as my guide for stamping.
I used a variety of green inks starting with the lightest and working up to the darker ones. I stamped the pinecones on kraft card stock with brown ink then used the matching dies to cut them out. The little strings the pinecones are hanging from were stamped with gold delicata ink.
I stamped my red card base with the argyle backdrops and cut the script joy die from the same red card stock. I covered the die cut in red stickles for some sparkle and add glitter berries as well.
For this card I inlayed the snowflakes in the cream colored panel. I was going to trim them off at the edges but decided I liked the look of the them overlapping onto the red much better. I die cut the script joy again and covered it in red stickles. I like the idea of using one of the heart dies to cut a special heart dot for the sentiment. I finished it off with some peppermint lawn trimmings twine.
Check out the for more projects with Deck the Halls and Stitched Snowflakes.
