Lawn Fawn February Inspiration Wee: Hoppy Easter, Happy Hatchling & Easter Border

Hello!
I have lots of easter goodness in today’s Lawn Fawn Inspiration & Release week post. First up is Hoppy Easter, a cute little mini set perfect for easter projects.

I did a little selective inking to make my sentiment and I used a variety of inks to add more color to the card.  For the card base I paired some yellow Let’s Polka in the Meadow paper with a new green plaid from Perfectly Plaid Rainbow die cut with a scalloped rectangle die with the ends trimmed off.  I added some coral twine for a finishing touch.

For my second card I used the new Easter Border die to create a background for my little Happy Hatchling chick. I die cut the border from Mermaid cardstock then layered it onto another piece of the same cardstock creating a repetitive pattern.  Then I die cut the finished piece with a stitched circle die for a nice finished edge.

For my little chick I cut him from yellow felt for a cute fuzzy look and added googly eyes for some extra fun. 🙂 The background and scalloped circle are from the new Perfectly Plaid Rainbow collection. The sentiment is from the Happy Easter stamp set.

  1. Oh Chari! These are BOTH so sweet! I love the chick die cut with the felt, that would be awesome. I just sent my little grandsons Valentines and I die cut the little hearts from red felt. They LOVED it and noticed right away they were "soft and fuzzy"! LOL How sweet!
