Hello!
I have lots of easter goodness in today’s Lawn Fawn Inspiration & Release week post. First up is Hoppy Easter, a cute little mini set perfect for easter projects.
I did a little selective inking to make my sentiment and I used a variety of inks to add more color to the card. For the card base I paired some yellow Let’s Polka in the Meadow paper with a new green plaid from Perfectly Plaid Rainbow die cut with a scalloped rectangle die with the ends trimmed off. I added some coral twine for a finishing touch.
For my little chick I cut him from yellow felt for a cute fuzzy look and added googly eyes for some extra fun. 🙂 The background and scalloped circle are from the new Perfectly Plaid Rainbow collection. The sentiment is from the Happy Easter stamp set.
Check out the Lawn Fawn blog for more Happy Hatchling and Hoppy Easter inspiration.
SUPPLIES:
Love both your cards. They are both bright and makes you feel like spring is here. (I'm in Surrey England)! Big hugs Jo xxx
Cute cards but the chick one with the word die cuts in same color on the circle is such a cute idea
Oh Chari! These are BOTH so sweet! I love the chick die cut with the felt, that would be awesome. I just sent my little grandsons Valentines and I die cut the little hearts from red felt. They LOVED it and noticed right away they were "soft and fuzzy"! LOL How sweet!
