Lawn Fawn February Inspiration & Release Week: Pivot Pop-Up

Hello! Welcome back to another day of Lawn Fawn Release Week! Today we are focusing on the new Pivot Pop-up Die.

I made a galaxy background blending distress inks and then added some water and gold watercolor splatters.  After everything was dry I die cut the outside in stars from the galaxy panel.  I also cut the same stars from Sunflower cardstock and stamped my sentiment and tiny stars in black ink.  I mounted the panel and inlaid the stars onto a card base made from Blue Jay cardstock.  I also added some tiny stars stamped with Delicata gold ink and hand drew some gold tie strings to make them look like they hang from the top.

For the inside of the cards I repeated the same galaxy ink blending after I had embossed the constellations using glow-in-the-dark embossing powder for the top panel and pivot pop up panels.  For the bottom panel I used Noble Fir cardstock and blended on distress oxide inks in broken china and cracked pistachio using a finger tip blender to create the look of the earth below.  The stars and the moon are gold embossed on Sunflower cardstock and I mounted some of the stars on clear acetate strips off the back of the pop up panel.  Because there is not much clearance when opening and closing the pivot pop up card any elements sticking off the top of the panel, espeically on the right, need to be flexable.  The acetate help with this problem.
