Lawn Fawn Embroidery Hoop Cards

Hi Friends! Today I have a bonus Lawn Fawn Spring Release week post with the new Embroidery Hoop die and Rainbow Add-on. I have three cards to share each one using one of the three different configurations of holes you can get with these dies.

First up is the basic heart. I simply stitched this all in one color using DMC floss. I added a mermaid hoop and the created a simple mini slimline card by adding bold pattern paper and big die-cut letters for the sentiment. I love how it turned out.

Next up I have a card with the Rainbow Add-on. This cuts holes to create a cute little rainbow. For my rainbow I stitched with a chain stitch for a different look, it is nice and thick and sort of a fluffy rainbow. Of course, this die pairs perfectly with the Sew Very Mice stamp set. I love the look of them all around sewing and getting creative.

Finally, I used the piece that is filled with holes to create a cross-stitch pattern of a cute little bee. I pulled this from a cross-stitch pattern I had in my stash and added the little hearts at the top and bottom. The What’s Sewing On? paper is also perfect for a background for these stitched elements. With a card like this, all you need is a simple sentiment and you are good to go!

You can see the first two cards and a stitching tutorial as part of the Intro to Embroidery Hoop video on the Lawn Fawn YouTube channel.
