Hi Friends!
Today I am super excited to get to share with you a card made with a new Lawn Fawn set Love ‘n Breakfast. This is actually the first time I have gotten to play with a set that none of you have seen yet! Oh my, keeping all that cuteness to myself has been very hard, so I’m glad to finally get to share it!
One of my favorite images in this set is the toaster. We got a pretty red toaster as a wedding gift and I just love it! So I had to make a shiny red toaster with some happy little toasts popping out of it.
I used the “popping up to say hello” sentiment from the set but used Harold’s ABCs to make the “hello” really pop. I rounded out my little table scene by adding the coffee cup (with some swirly My Cup of Tea steam) and the muffin on a plate (which was stamped from the breakfast tray). I created the yellow “wallpaper” background by using the notebook paper stamp from Schoolhouse Backdrops. I stamped the lines across my cardstock evenly then went back and stamped them again with a slight offset. I think the glossy accents really give the toaster, cup & plate a shiny diner look. And I finished off by adding some picket fence distress stickles to the muffin top and the plate to look like a dusting of sugar. By the way I am seriously in love with picket fence stickles.

Too cute! I remember registering for my toaster, just a plain ol' white one because I thought I'd never use it. Now I use it all the time and wish I would have registered for something like yours.
