Lawn Fawn December Inspiration & Release Week: Turn Me On

Hello!
I’m back again with another post for Lawn Fawn Inspiration and Release week with another new stamp set, this time it’s the mini set Turn Me On. I think the light bulb with the heart shaped filament is just too cute.

For this card I started by stamping the light bulb in a pale blue ink.  Using a fingertip sponge dauber I blended some Lawn Fawn Sunflower ink over where my focal point light bulb would be to create a lovely glow.  On a scrap piece of white card stock I stamped the light bulb in Hippo ink using Fake Tan ink for the filament. I added some light blue color to the outer edge of the bulb and some yellow around the filament with colored pencils and then used the coordinating dies to cut it out.

I formed the sentiment to match the curve of the light bulb and stamped in Versafine Onyx Black ink for a bold crisp sentiment. I also added some little light rays in Fake Tan ink using the included exclamation point stamp and some hearts in the new Plastic Flamingo ink!  Then I simply layered the die cut light bulb over top of the blended yellow ink with a thin foam adhesive square.

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn Blog for more projects with this fun little set!

  1. Chari, I saw this card on one of Kelly's videos (for Lawn Fawn), and I had to come take a closer look! Glad I found your post. 🙂 Love the glow you created behind the light bulb, and the neat background. I've pinned it for future inspiration! ~ Andrea
