I know I have posted this card before but it’s one of my most favorites I have made ever. The images are colored with copics and cut with coordinating dies. But the field and background really make this card awesome. I used distress inks on distress watercolor paper to create the background blending shaded lilac, tumbled glass, broken china and faded jeans from the bottom to the top. Then I stamped the corn stalk image in black in the create silhouettes against the sky.
The grass turned out just fab too, I cut these pieces from watercolor cardstock using the grassy border die and then inked them with scattered straw and fossilized amber along the grassy edges. I used Argyle backdrops on the card base and then outlined the back panel with white faux stiching. The sentiment I stamped with Walnut ink.
For my second card I used the stitched ovals to create my frame and used the grassy cupcake wrapper die to cut a rounded grassy hill. I inked the edges of the grassy with fossilzed amber distress ink to define the edge a bit. The corn stalks in the background are stamped with celery stick and freshly cut grass.
I used gingham backdrops for the background and think it works perfectly with the harvest theme. Thanks for stopping by and head over to the Lawn Fawn Blog for more Happy Harvest projects!

Hello, I was wondering what paper do you use to color with copics. I heve been having a hard time coloring lately and I think is related to the paper. Your cards are adorable!
Thank you.
Great cards!! I love the coloring on the images!!
