Lawn Fawn August Inspiration Week: Critters In Costume

Hello!
It’s Lawn Fawn Inspiration Week! Yes the blog has been quiet for weeks but it’s because I have been busy working on projects with all these new Lawn Fawn products.  And all the new products will be available for purchase at the end of release week!! Woo hoo!

Today we are featuring Critters in Costume, the newest and possibly the cutest installment in the Lawn Fawn critter line.

CrittersInCostume

I made a comic book style card with different panels.  I colored all the panel backgrounds with distress inks and colored all the images with copics.  The matching dies that go with this stamp set make cutting the images out very easy and that white border really makes the images stand out against the backgrounds.  I’ll be honest I really love how this one turned out!

Be sure to check out the Lawn Fawn blog to see more projects from the design team with this cute set and I know that Kelly is giving away a set so be sure to leave a comment there for a chance to win.

  2. Chari, I just saw this on Lawn Fawn's blog, and I HAD to hop over here to tell you that YOUR CARD IS WONDERFUL! I was NOT interested in this set at all, even after watching the video last night on YouTube. However, that attitude did a 180 on me real quick with your card!

  3. Squeee! I love your cards and crafts so much, Chari. Your coloring is always just the right amount of solid color and shading, and I believe in one of your videos you said that you typically use only 1-2 shades for shading to keep it simple. I was wondering if you could recommend (you might have mentioned it somewhere before) a 'starter kit list' of copic colors for Lawn Fawn's sets. Have a great day! ๐Ÿ™‚

I love everything about this card, from your amazing coloring and composition, to the way your background pops the critters off the card. So sweet, thank you so much for inspiring me with your talent.
