Lawn Fawn August Inspiration + Release Week: Caramel Apple + Tiny Gift Box Bat Add-On

Hello!
We are getting closer and closer to the Fall/Winter Lawn Fawn release this Thursday, August 23rd.  Today we are featuring projects with the new mini Caramel Apple set and the new Tiny Gift Box Bat Add-on.

This first card has the sweet caramel apples with the Knit Picky Fall papers.  I used some distress ink in shabby shutters to ink the top and bottom edges of the green Knit Picky paper running down the center and wild honey distress ink on the edges of the cross stitched circle to break up the patterns a big and give the edges definition.

The Paper Bag cardstock scalloped circle matches the caramel colors I used well and frames this sweet pair nicely. I also added some prisma glitter to the heart for a little sparkle.

I had fun coloring all the different color of apples so for this card I grouped all the apple types together. The background is cut from the green Knit Picky fall paper from the petite paper pack.

The sentiment is stamped onto a white piece of cardstock I cut with one of the dies from the Fancy Box die set.

My last card today uses the Tiny Gift Box Bat add-on on a card.  Have you ever made a card that turned out even better than you imagined? I felt that way about this cute little bat. He’s pretty adorable and the background turned out so perfect. I love it!

The swirly background is blended with Wilted Violet, Blueprint Sketch, and Black soot distress oxide inks with some metallic blue & purple watercolor splatters. The big moon is inked with Squeezed Lemonade, Wild Honey, and Spiced Marmalade distress oxide inks with pearly white watercolor splatters.  You can see just how I created this card as part of the Tiny Gift Box Bat add-on intro video!

My last project again uses the Bat add-on die to create something without the tiny gift box.  I created these fun decor elements with sparkly wings and wiggle eyes.

How fun are these little bats? I have shown them on a spooky tree but they would also be cut on a gift bag or hanging from a banner or mobile.  You can see how I created these in the Bat add-on intro video.
