Lawn Fawn August Inspiration & Release Week: Costume Party, Village Border + Trick Or Treat Border

Hello!
It’s Lawn Fawn Inspiration week! Time to get in the mood for Fall.  Today we are featuring the new stamp set Costume Party which is full of kids in cute costumes.  We are also featuring the new trick or treat border die and the village border die which I absolutely love!

I really love that there is a roll of toilet paper included with in the images of the Costume Party set, so the kids on my card are up to a little mischief. I cut the new stitched hillside backdrop from black card stock for the ground and cut off the back hill.  I also layered a few of the largest die cut rectangle frames behind it to create a little dimension between the foreground and background.  The birch trees are cut from storm cloud cardstock and create a perfect place for these mischievous kids to hide.

The “toilet paper” in the trees is micropore tape folded over then cut to thinner strips.  Finally my sentiment is a combination of stamps from Happy, happy, happy and the new Happy, happy, happy add-on sets.

For my second card I created a tone on tone background using the trick or treat border die.  The village border is cut from black glitter paper creating a shimmery border along the bottom.  The sentiment is created with Happy, happy, happy again (I just really love that happy) and a partial sentiment stamp from Spooktacular. I finished it off with a little ghost and bat that are part of the Scalloped Treat Box Halloween House Add-on die set. I added google eyes of course because that makes everything more fun.
