Lawn Fawn April Inspiration Week: Sewn With Love

Hello!
It’s time again for Lawn Fawn inspiration week! Today we are featuring Sewn With Love.  This is a great set to use for projects for all the seamstresses in your life.  I paired the images with Perfectly Plaid Rainbow and Watercolor Wishes paper to create my colorful card today.

I colored all my images with copic markers pulling the bright colors from the bright and happy Perfectly Plaid Rainbow paper.  I used the Cross Stitched Stackable rectangle to cut my pattern paper which I think is the perfect border to go with a sewing themed card.  I also layered the Zig Zag Rectangle stackable behind it which is also perfect with a sewing theme because it reminds me of pinking shears.

I used various thicknesses of foam adhesive squares to layer my images and create a little arrangement on the plaid table top.  One of my favorite things about this set and it’s coordinating dies is the die that cuts out the delicate “Sew” and “Cute.” I used the “Sew” on this card by white embossing it on Guava cardstock then die cutting it. I just love the look this technique creates.
