Hello Friends!
We are kicking off Lawn Fawn April Inspiration Week with all the strawberries! Today card features the Outside In Stitched Strawberry and a new style of card for me! I created my very first easel card and it was a lot of fun.
I thought this giant strawberry was the perfect image for an easel card. I cut it from pink spiffy speckles paper and then inked darker areas with abandoned coral distress oxide to give the more bright red strawberry color. I used sunflower cardstock for the yellow seed and cilantro cardstock with some lucky clover inking for the strawberry top.
The sentiment is a custom sentiment using Riley’s abcs stamps and Henry’s abcs die cuts. I used more Spiffy Speckles paper for the sentiment area on the inside and the blue sky with Flower Market paper for the grass. To cover up the seam between my two papers in the background I dug out the fence die from the Scalloped Treat Box Spring House Add-on which was a perfect size to tuck behind the strawberry.
You can check out this card as part of the intro video on the Lawn Fawn blog. Thanks so much for stopping by!
