Land of OZ

Hello Friends!

Today I have a Land of Oz-inspired card to share that is completely made of die cuts. I wanted to make something different with the Build-A-Castle die and I also knew the Lawn Fawn brick stencil would be perfect for a yellow brick road, and from that, an idea was born.

The colors for this card were inspired by a cross-stitched piece that I have hanging on my craft room wall. It is a pattern from Satsuma Street and you can check it out HERE if you are a stitcher.

I used the cloudy stencil and kiddie pool ink to create the cloudy sky for my bright rainbow. The castle is built from various green cardstocks and the yellow brick road was created using the brick stencil and fossilized amber and wild honey distress inks on sunflower cardstock. I also inked the trees behind the castle with picked raspberry and dusty concord with a layer of moon dust stickles gel. These “trees” are cut using the puffy cloud border die.
