Kissy Fishes

Hi All, I have yet another post this weekend… yeah it has been a crafty weekend indeed!  But my weeknights ahead are pretty full so I’m glad I got some time to play this weekend.

So have you checked out Britta’s new video series “All About Stamping”?  In the last few installments she has been featuring different stamp companies stamps.  In the latest one she featured My Cute Stamps (you can check it out HERE), and I realized I had a few sets from My Cute Stamps but had not really put them to use yet.  So today I remedied that! 🙂

I used the mini Gumballs set and some gems (which is a first for me) that fit perfectly into the gumballs.  I picked up the sentiment stamp in the dollar bin at Michael’s.  I just thought it was a sweet sentiment and would make a good card to cheer someone up.

My second card is another “think out of the box” congrats card.  Typically wedding cards are soft and beautiful and elegant.  But I have to say the cards I remember the most out of the big stack of wedding cards we got a couple months ago where the more fun cards.  So I inked up the my new Fishy Fun set from My Cute Stamps and got creative.  Fish need love too. 🙂

I think I will enter this one in the Gallery Idol challenge as well.

  1. What a cute and adorable card! I saw it over at Jennifer's Card Camp and I am also signed up to take the classes with her and Kristina! I think they are both fabulous and can't wait.

I'm now a new follower of your blog and will look forward to seeing you in class!!

  2. I'm glad I encouraged you to get out your stamps that you hadn't really used yet. I think I need to make a pile of the ones I haven't used yet and not put them away until I'm done. Haha. There is too much cuteness and not enough time to stamp! I love those little kissy fishes. So cute! Thanks for sharing, dear. 🙂
