Today I have a cute valentine to share with a beautiful ink blended background and images colored with colored pencils. I love the soft colors the pencils gave me for these images. I created this card as a valentine but I think the colors lend themselves to be used year round.
I colored the green scalloped circle with ink as well to create custom colored cardstock to match my images. When you don’t have a matching color cardstock in your stash this is an easy way to create something that matches perfectly!
How cute is that little koala, I think the softness of the colored pencil blended with gamsol really is perfect for him. There is still some texture to the image but it has a nice blended smoothness as well.
