Hello Friends!
Today I have a fun Easter stitching project to share! I decorated a simple basket with the Poshta Design Hippity Hop bunny and even created a fun felt-stitched Carrot Crop treat pocket for the inside.

Any basket can be an Easter basket; I found mine (with the little bunny ears) in the Bullseye’s Playground section of Target. But the basket is not the star, it’s the adorable Hippity Hop bunny! I have had this die for a while, and I don’t know why I waited so long to stitch him up!

I cut Mr. Hippity Hop from Pearl felt, with accents in Tundra (eyes), Peach Puff (muzzle), and Shortbread (feet). I used Paloma for the feet, nose, and ears, with added patterned fabric inside the ears. I also love that he comes with a carrot (or easter egg) accessory.

You might have noticed the added grass on the basket. To create this, I used the Smiling Scarecrow die, because he has some great fringe that made it super easy to add perfect grass!

I also made a fun Carrot Crop treat pouch to tuck inside the basket. Now I really want to make a carrot banner, but for now, my carrot will just hide some chocolate bunnies and coins instead.
Watch the tutorial and see how this project came together in the video below or HERE on YouTube!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
