I never thought I would jump on the neon train but I got a few neon inks and like them. I also never thought I would be much into mists but they have grown on me too…although I like splattering them more than spraying them however. So neon mists…well yes I decided I wanted those too, but after a little tutorial by my fellow Lawn Fawn Design Team member Melissa I decided to save some money and make my own. I used some inexpensive neon acrylic paint and some water and shook well.
I made this fun card for the Gallery Idol auditions and really like how it turned out.
I used purple and blue neon inks to stamp the big word bubble and I double stamped the letters. I splattered my neon mists across the background then popped up the purple word bubble on top with foam adhesive and accented the letters with stardust stickles. The black card base frames it nicely. Neon splatter, now that is a flash back to the 80’s for sure.
Thanks for stopping by today!
