So sometimes I get stuck coming up with a design, I’m sure we all do. Some people like using color schemes to get inspired, others like photographs, for me the easiest thing to inspire me are sketches. Perhaps it is the architect in me but having something drawn out is very helpful in jumpstarting my creativity. I typically sketch out my ideas before stamping and creating anyway. There are many places to find good sketches, this one is an other one from the Studio Calico blog.
I choose to use a heart shape rather than a banner shape for my elements and use papers from the Copper Mountain Card kit to create my design.
To create a little more interest I popped up the heart in the bottom right corner and covered it in glitter. I white embossed the sentiment to make it stand out against the darker background paper and for a little added color I put the striped paper on the left side.
Thanks for stopping by today!

I'm a sketchaholic myself and love your take on this one!
