Happy Mother’s Day – Final Cut

Happy Wednesday! I am back to share my last Mother’s Day card that I made this past weekend.  This one uses some flower embellishments which I don’t typically use, but they came as a free gift with an order of supplies so I thought I would give them a try.  This card was made for my Mamaw.

I clear embossed the background image on some pattern paper the applied Peacock Feathers distress ink over top to give it a tone on tone look. Seriously if you haven’t checked it out the new Spring seasonal distress inks you need to, the colors are lovely.  I can’t wait to make something with the rest of the colors in the pack!

Thanks for stopping by today! 🙂

  1. Well if this is what that beautiful Peacock ink looks like on this gorgeous card, then I definitely need to pull mine out and ink something up, but sure it won't look as pretty as this card, hugs!

I received my spring inks the other day and still didn't have time to play with them… that peacock ink looks gorgeous!
