Happy Little Banners

Hello Friends!  I have another card to share today that uses the new Bazzill Card Shoppe card stock.  If you saw my post yesterday you know that this card stock is meant for card makers and the description from Bazzill says it will hold up to misting & embossing.  Yesterday’s card featured dry embossing & some die cutting.  Today’s card has some heat embossing and misting action.

HelloBanners

The misting I did on this card wasn’t a full on spray (I will have to test that out later) because I wanted a more confetti type look.  So I simply unscrewed the spray top and tapped it with my finger, so the liquid that was left on the tube that goes inside the bottle created flecks of color.  You could do this with a paint brush as well if you preferred.  For the banners I cut out 1 inch square pieces out of the various colors and stamped and embossed them individually.  You could stamp all five at once on one piece and emboss them together but I was attempting to line up the chevrons on each flag.  The pennants were stamped on the card base in grey as a go by for where to place each flag, and I just hand drew the extensions of the string with a grey marker.

Be sure to comment on yesterday’s post for a chance to win a variety pack of the Bazzill Card Shoppe cardstock.
