Hello Friends!
Today I am sharing a super fun card that I really enjoyed designing and creating. This card mixes a lot of images from different sets to create a cute Halloween scene. This card is a window card and a tri-fold card and I am truly happy with how it turned out. I can’t wait to share!
The front of the card is the outside of the house. I stenciled the brick in storm cloud ink onto narwhal cardstock. Then I cut out the window and added a black window frame. The spider web is cut from iridescent vellum which I love because it has a pretty sheen like a spider web. And cutting out the window let’s the cute little ghosts peek through.
When you open up the card the little ghosts are on a vellum layer almost like a mist in the air, you get a hint of the scene inside but the ghosts still stand out.
Of course I decorated the back of the front panel as well to create a complete scene for the inside of the house. I did the same stenciling as the front, added some dark brown wood grain cardstock for the floor and added a cute little dressed up doxie and a jack-o-lantern.
Pull back the ghostly vellum panel to reveal the scene inside. The witch that lives here has left the cauldron bubbling, her broom behind and her hat as well. The fireplace from Cozy Christmas fits the bubbling cauldron perfectly and I love the little spider webs and spiders added to the scene.
