Get Cracking on Christmas: Sending Cheer Stitched card

Hello! It’s the last Get Cracking on Christmas post of the year! We made it! If you haven’t noticed me and my friends have been making one Christmas card a month all year because when it becomes holiday time we tend to get too busy and never get to play with our Christmas goodies.  This year is no exception.  I put up our tree but past that the Christmas spirit has eluded me this year.  But I do have a holiday card to share today that is non-traditional colors so really the idea could be used any time of year.

Sending Cheer Stitched

I stitched a quilt square kind of pattern onto a card base that I die cut with Paper Smooches stitching die.  I wish I had the square stitched die but I do not, so to improvise I pushed my colorful design to the top so that the bottom was more solid and would be the perfect place for my sentiment.  The sentiment is from WPlus9 and I love that even though it is a holiday product it could be used year round. To finish it off I added some silver snowflake sequins from my stash.

Please visit my friends Jenn, Libby and Caryn to see their final Christmas projects for the year as well. And if you want to join in share your holiday projects on social media with the tag #getcrackingonchristmas.
