Get Cracking On Christmas: Cozy Christmas Critters

Hello! I can’t believe it’s already March, which means we on to our third Get Cracking on Christmas card.  I am joining my friends Jenn (who will get her card posted once she has dug out from the Blizzard on Cape Cod) Cherion, Libby & Caryn on our quest to create at least one Christmas card each month this year to get a jump start on the holidays.

For today’s card, I dug into my stash of pattern paper to find this fun birch tree pattern which I felt would be perfect for these little critters. I layered the panel on a card base made from WPlus9 Oatmeal cardstock.  These critters are from the Whimsical Winter stamp set from Mama Elephant.  This is my first time getting these little guys inky, I think they are just adorable. I colored them with Copic markers and used the coordinating dies to cut them out.

The snow is from a piece of paper that was included in the October 2017 Hero Arts My Monthly Hero Kit. I cut the snowy hill with the simple stitched hillside border dies from Lawn Fawn.  The sentiment comes from the Essentials by Ellen Cozy Christmas set and is white embossed on Narwhal cardstock.  I finished it off wish some Neat & Tangled Snowfall sequins.
